In a quick succession two news snippets drew my attention, which once again stirred my restive mind indignant at the way things are moving slowly to its imminent doom:
The Hindi Daily, Sanmarg group felicitated meritorious students of Bengal at a function in Kolkata on 1st July. But the candidates who were honoured only included ISC, ICSE, and CBSE. West Bengal examination Boards Secondary or Higher Secondary didn’t find even a mention.
So the question arises who is moulding whom in West Bengal? The Outsiders are moulding Bengal and Bengalis to their own convenience to further their cause in connivance with our leaders who don’t see harm in allowing them special status and privileges even at the risk of self annihilation of and subsequent insolvency.
The Moral for the Omniscient Bengalis?
Learn Hindi, Speak Hindi and discard if not deride everything that is quintessentially Bengali so as to remain in the fray, so as to draw attention and so as to keep the vanity of being a race of self-styled cultured intellectuals, who are in true sense are nothing more than miserable nincompoops shorn of the little self respect expected of a man.
It is not only disgusting but shameful, as we keep failing each other knowing how the outsiders are being benefitted and how they are increasingly calling the shots, scheming their evil design through socio-political milieu that essentially belongs to us and for our posterity.
