Protest Against Rampant Disregard of Law and Public Decency By the Military Personnel Deployed in West Bengal in the Wake of Election.

It has come to our notice that Army personnel deployed in West Bengal with an aim at restoring Peace and order and facilitate Election process have been themselves found to be indulging in activities that is totally uncalled for and may be even deemed illegal for that matter.
There are instances of misdemeanour involving respectable common people, drinking at Public places, manhandling State Govt. Law enforcing Officials, bullying Auto rickshaw drivers and so on in stark defiance of Law and public decorum.
What is more appalling is the way a section of Armed forces has resorted to hunting stray dogs, cats and Squirrels to supplement their feast has drawn severe strictures from Bengali residents, who are not used to seeing such acts of gross cruelty and unbridled savagery.
The point here is not who has to shoulder the responsibility or who is to blame. The point is the sense of decorum and respect to other people’s culture. Wasn’t it the responsibility of those people at the helm to give these soldiers, who are alien to our Bengali Culture and Sentiments, some kind of cultural dressing before sending them here? It is somewhat moving about NAKED in front of people who have long abandoned the practice.
Or is it that our venerated Politicians both in Delhi and West Bengal have just taken the matter for granted?
WE the People of Bengal take it as a sheer Affront to our culture and a Slur to our Racial Dignity.
Bengalis are taken for granted, their culture, their tradition, their sentiments whatever connect to them are superciliously taken for granted.
WE PROTEST THIS ATTITUDE; WE CONDEMN THIS STATE-OF-AFFAIRS.
WE WILL NOT LET THIS CONTINUE UNABASHEDLY...!!!
